Day 01 : Arrive Bhubaneswar in the morning and Transfer to Puri ( Aprox. 80 kms – 02 hrs ) On arrival, meet our Representative at Bhubaneswar Airport and transfer to Puri, enroute visit Dhauli (the peace pagoda), Pipli (the appliqué work village) and Temples of bhubaneshwar. On arrival at Puri check in to the hotel. As time permits, relax on the golden beach of Puri. Overnight at Puri at Hotel Mayfair Waves. Day 02 : Puri – Jagannath Temple – Raghurajpur Heritage Village - Chilika Lake- Sea beach ( Total Aprox. 170 Kms) Early morning visit Lord Jangannath temple in Puri. (only Hindus are allowed inside the temple), Non Hindus can see the temple from a designated place. Also visit Raghunath Library, one of the oldest Temple Library of India. Visit on the way visit Raghurajpur Heritage Village (Painting village). Also enjoy the Chita-- paintings on the walls of the houses. Situated amidst groves of coconut, palm, mango and jack fruit, the main village has two streets with over 120 houses, most decorated with mural paintings, where the painters reside and practice their Pattachitra craft, besides many others that practices throughout the village, including traditional masks, stone idols, paper Mache, sculptures, and wooden toys. And also you can witness Gotipua dance, is a traditional dance form in the state of Odisha, India, and the precursor of Odissi classical dance. It has been performed in Odisha for centuries by young boys, who dress as young women to praise Jagannath and Krishna. The dance is executed by a group of boys who perform acrobatic figures inspired by the life of Radha and Krishna. And this performance is a life time experience for visitors. After lunch (own arrangement) move to Chilika Lake, Asia’s largest estuarine water lagoon covers an area of 1100 sq Km with combination of salt and fresh water. The lake is separated from the Bay of Bengal by a narrow sandy ridge, called Ramsar Wetland. For it biodiversity, this lake attracts millions migratory bird in winter. It also home to a diverse range of aquatic life, including 225 species of fish and the playful Irrawaddy Dolphin. Boating to Mouth Of Chilika Lake: the point where see meets the lake. Evening at Puri Sea Beach, fishing village and explore the Traditional local market in Puri. Overnight at Puri Hotel Mayfair Waves. Day 03 : Puri – Konark – Puri (Total Approx. 80 kms) Morning after breakfast drive to Konark to visit the Sun temple (one of the world famous heritage site). Enroute visit to Ramchandi temple and Chandrabhaga beach. Return back to Puri. Evening visit to beach market. Overnight at Puri Hotel Mayfair Waves. Day 04 : Puri – Bhubaneswar for your onward flight (Aprox 70 kms / 01 hr 30 min) After early breakfast at your hotel, check out and proceed for Bhubaneswar Airport. Enroute you can undertake Bhubaneswar sightseeing Architectural marvels of Bhubaneswar Temple which you had not done on Day 01: Lingaraja Temple, Mukteswar Temple, Parshurameswar Temple & RajaRani Temple.
