DAY 1: NAIROBI –  OL KINYEI CONSERVANCY, MAASAI MARA

Welcome!

Pick up from your city hotel and transfer to the Wilson Airport for a schedule flight to the Masai Mara (Flight takes about 1-Hour - ETD 1000Hrs). Arrive at the Ol seki Airstrip where you receive a bush welcome drink, a warm African welcome and thereafter transfer to the Porini Bush Camp (transfer takes approximately 30 minutes). After the check-in and camp briefing, you have lunch and some free time to take in your new environment in the Masai Mara. After lunch take an afternoon game drive, stopping at a scenic point for a sundowner, followed by a night game drive to search for nocturnal animals, including the elusive leopards which are resident in Ol Kinyei Conservancy. Dinner and overnight at Porini Bush Camp.

DAY 2:  OL KINYEI CONSERVANCY, MAASAI MARA

A full day to explore Ol Kinyei & Naboisho Conservancies on the lookout for elephants, buffalo, giraffe, plains game and the big cats. Wake up at dawn and enjoy an early game drive in the conservancy, returning to camp for a late breakfast followed by an escorted nature walk and then lunch. In the afternoon enjoy another game drive in the Ol Kinyei Conservancy with a night drive as you head back to camp driving in the dark with a spotlight for the chance to see the nocturnal animals. DAY 3:  MAASAI MARA NATIONAL RESERVE

This morning after a delicious breakfast, you leave for a full day private game drive in the Masai Mara National Reserve, one of the world’s greatest wildlife sanctuaries. Together with the Serengeti it forms one spectacular ecosystem with an incredible diversity of wild animals. During ‘The Great Migration’ (July – October) over a million wildebeest and thousands of other animals pass through, searching for fresh new grass after the rains. Game viewing is excellent year round with an extraordinary density of animals, including the ‘big five’. The advantage of a private safari is that you only need to take your own wishes and those of your travel companion into account. Lunch is served picnic style in the bush, an amazing experience! Back at the camp you enjoy some time at leisure and have an early dinner before you head off for another exciting adventure: a thrilling night game drive in the Ol kinyei Conservancy, revealing the nocturnal animals under the spectacular moonlit African sky.

DAY 4:  MAASAI MARA - DIANI BEACH

The day starts with a nice cup of coffee, ready to leave for an early morning game drive in the Ol kinyei Conservancy. Our expert guides know the area like nobody else and do their utmost to trace the game for you as the sun rises. During the morning period the animals are more active and you have the best light conditions to take your pictures. When you return at the camp, a sumptuous breakfast is already set up for you. Depending on your flight time, you have your last lunch at the camp before your transfer to the Olare Airstrip. A superb 2-hour flight brings you to the Ukunda Airstrip, where the driver will transfer you to the Pinewood Beach resort (a 10 km drive), ideally situated at the beautiful Diani Beach, for the start of your fantastic beach holiday.

DAYS 5 & 6:  PINEWOOD BEACH RESORT - DIANI

DAY 7:  DEPART

Breakfast at the resort, rest of the morning at leisure with use of room until 1000hrs, lunch EXCLUDED. Later, transfer to Ukunda for 15.30hrs scheduled flight back to Nairobi, arriving at 17:10hrs. Met at Wilson airport and transferred to Jomo Kenyatta International airport for homebound flight.
