Day 01 – Arrive Nairobi – Drive to Amboseli National Park
After clearing immigration and customs, you will be met by your drive cum guide in the arrival hall at Jomo Kenyatta international airport and drive straight to Amboseli National Park (approximately 4 hours, without stops).
On arrival, you will check into your lodge and freshen up. Later you will set out for your first game drive.
One of the most popular parks in Kenya, Amboseli National Park is also known as the home of the African Elephant. With sweeping views of Mount Kilimanjaro (on a clear day), it is one of the best places in African continent to view large herds of African Elephants up close. The word ‘Amboseli’ literally translates into ‘salty dust’ and finds its origin in Maasai language. Its diver habitats are favourable for many other wild animals such as Leopard, Cheetah, Wild Dogs, Buffalo, Giraffe, Zibra, Lion, and many species of birds.

Day 02 – Amboseli National Park
Today you will undertake morning and afternoon game drives in the Amboseli National park. In between the drives you will relax at your lodge.

Day 03 – Amboseli National Park to Lake Elementaita (drive)
Post an early breakfast, you will drive to Lake Elementaita (approximately 6 hours drive, without stops). Your safari guide will make en-route stops to have your packed lunch. On arrival, you will check into your lodge. You will spend the rest of the day relaxing at your lodge.
Lake Elementaita is a large freshwater lake, situated at an elevation of 1884 meters it is the highest lake within the Great Rift valley. The lake is famous for its high populations of hippos and flamingos. The lake is also a bird watcher’s paradise as it is home to over 400 bird species.
Later time permitting (or you will visit the next day, on your way to Masai Mara) you will first visit Crescent Island, an Island that is accessible only by a boat. You will embark on the boat ride to Crescent Island. Whether an avid animal, bird or plant lover or just an interested novice you will find something to excite you.

Day 04 – Lake Naivasha to Masaai Mara (drive)
Today after breakfast, You will drive towards Masai Mara (approximately 4.5 hour drive, without stops). Your driver guide will find a perfect spot to enjoy your packed lunch boxes.
On arrival, you will check into your hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure.

Day 05 – Masaai Mara
Each day will be spent exploring the vast plains of the Masai Mara, starting early with a game drive before breakfast, and returning to the lodge for meals. This reserve is an extension of the Serengeti ecosystem to the south. Game abounds here, particularly when the migration is on, and millions of wildebeests and zebras make their way back and forth across the Mara River on their annual trek.
The Mara is also noted for its abundance of lions - particularly the superb black manned males. Youll see lots of elephants here often in large herds, as well as, if youre lucky, leopard, cheetah and rhino. All of the Big Five are residents. Youre sure to see the African buffalo. The huge expanse of grassland covers 320 sq km and is dotted with distinctive flat-topped acacia trees are watered by two rivers, Mara River and Talek River.
It is also home to the nomadic Maasai people, who can be see grazing their cattle, usually brightly dressed in red chequered capes. Get the cameras ready, stock up on batteries and enjoy yourselves! Following lunch and a siesta, there is an afternoon game drive returning to the lodge as the sun sets.

Day 06 – Masaai Mara to Nairobi (drive)
Post breakfast, you will check out from your hotel and drive towards Nairobi airport (approximately 5 hours, without stops). Time permitting you may visit a local market to get some souvenirs and savoury snacks and later you will be dropped at Nairobi airport for your international departure flight.
