Day 01 - Meet and assisted on arrival at Sandakan airport and transfer to Borneo

Nature Lodge on a 3hours drive going through villages.

1800hrs – Expected time arrival at Sukau Kinabatangan.
Meet and assisted upon and transfer 10 minutes by boat to Borneo Nature Lodge.
Meet and assist upon arrival at Borneo Nature lodge.
(Welcome drink is served and cold towel to freshen up from the long drive)
Proceed with the check in.

1900hrs – Dinner at Borneo Nature Lodge restaurant.

Day 02  -   Ox -Bow morning cruise

0600hrs -    Wake up to the calls of tropical birds and wildlife. Take a sunrise cruise a 6:00am up the Kinabatangan River and onto Kelenanap Ox Bow Lake for bird watching. Return to the lodge for breakfast then explore the large limestone Gomantong Cave, famous for its bird’s nests. Walk about fifteen minutes on the boardwalk to the opening of Semut Hitam cavern and explore the cave system. Drive back to the lodge to freshen up for lunch. Time at leisure.

Meet at the lodge for the afternoon tea before embarking for the afternoon cruise on Kinabatangan River to see more of the flora and fauna of the rainforest. This evening cruise back to the lodge to freshen up for dinner.

Day 03       Sukau /Sepilok Orang Utan /Sun Bear rehabilitation centre

0700hrs – Depart Sukau and proceed journey to Sepilok Orangutan Rehabilitation Centre. Learn about the magnificent work the Centre staff are doing to help orphaned baby Orangutan’s be rehabilitated and prepared for release back to their natural habitats in the wild jungle of Borneo. Observe the   Orangutan families and other primates at the feeding platform, proceed the 10minutes walk to the remarkable sun bear at the Bornean Sun Bear Sanctuary.

1200hrs -   Proceed for lunch to Borneo Sepilok Rainforest restaurant

1330hrs -    After lunch proceed to Sabah hotel to check in.

Day 4 Sandakan - Rainforest Centre

0700hrs - Enjoy breakfast at the hotel

0800hrs – Meet at the hotel lobby and proceed to the to the Rainforest Discovery Centre. Marvel at the beauty of the Sepilok Rainforest at dawn and immerse yourself in the tree tops, with the 250 bird species and other wildlife, on the canopy walk platform. Keep a look out you may even spot an Orangutan swinging through the trees! Plant lovers will be thrilled by the diversity of native orchids, slipper orchids, pitcher-plants and tropical plants, such as the Venus flytrap, on display in the Centre’s plant discovery garden.  (Breakfast)

1130hrs – Transfer to the hotel
