Day 1 Amboseli National Park
Met on arrival and drive to Amboseli in time for lunch. Amboseli National Park, lying below the most famous symbol of Africa, Mount Kilimanjaro. The 392 sq km Amboseli National Park lies due south of Nairobi, within clear sight of Mt Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest mountain at 5896 metres. The waters of the mountain feed the seasonal swamps and marshes on which the game and birds, which live in the park, rely. It is here that photographers will hope to shoot the classic picture of the elephant or giraffe standing against the dramatic backdrop of the snow capped mountain. Day 2 Amboseli National Park
Whole day in Amboseli with early morning and afternoon game drives. All meals and overnight at Amboseli Sentrim camp (L-DBB)
DAY 3: Lake Manyara National Park
After breakfast drive to the Namanga Border. Pick up from Namanga border and drive to Arusha in time for lunch then to Lake Manyara National Park,This beautiful park is at the base of the Great Rift Valley escarpment and comprises of forest, woodland, grasslands, and swamps.
Gazelles; impala; buffalo; wildebeest; the famous tree climbing lion; hyenas; baboon; giraffe; hippopotamus; and a great number of smaller mammals; 350 species of bird, storks and flamingosApart from its abundant bird and animal life is known for its tree-climbing lions. Afternoon game drive. , dinner and overnight at Lake Manyara Maramboi Tented Camp (LDBB)
Day 4 Serengeti National Park
Breakfast at your lodge , then drive to the Serengeti National Park, undoubtedly the most famous wildlife sanctuary in the world, unequalled for its natural beauty and the greatest concentration of plains game anywhere. The Serengeti National Park is the home of the largest concentrations of animals in Tanzania and is the southern extension of the famous Masai Mara Game Reserve of Kenya.. It is in this area that annual migration of Wildebeest accompanied by the predators takes place (normally between June and September). Residents Wildebeests always dot the plains. Huge prides of lion live in the Mara; cheetahs are often found on the plains. There are large herds of elephants and buffalo and other plains animals are also to be found. Day 5 SERENGETI National Park
All day spent in the Serengeti with morning and afternoon game drives. Meals and overnight at Serengeti Ecco Lodge (LDBB
Day 6 DEPARTURE Ngorongoro Conservation Area
Drive to the Ngorongoro Crater, the largest intact caldera in the world. Its enduring charm stems from its overwhelming physical beauty and the abundance of wildlife permanently resident on the crater floor.The park is located between the Serengeti and Lake Manyara It is home to the famous volcanic Ngorongoro crater which is the largest unbroken caldera in the world. The crater (610 metres deep and 260 km squared) is a microcosm of East African scenery and stunning views are the hallmark of this wonder of the world. All the lodges are built high on the crater rim and afford amazing views over and into the crater - the perfect setting for a well deservedsundowner. Olduvai Gorge which is in the Conservation Area and where it is possible to see the famous discoveries ofremains of early Man by Mary and Louis Leakey. However most of the activity is within the crater which is popular for bird watching, photography, walking safaris, and game viewing .There are 25,000 larger animals within the crater itself, mostly Zebra and wildebeest. However, this is undoubtedly the best place to see black rhino in Tanzania as well as prides of lion that include the magnificent black-maned males.
There are lots of colourful flamingoes and a variety of other water birds around the soda lake on the crater floor. More than a 100 species of bird not found in the Serengeti have been found in the crater. Other game: leopard, cheetah, hyena, elephants, warthog, impala, buffalo, hartebeest, eland and lots of other members of the antelope family and smaller mammals of sorts Afternoon at leisure. Day 7 NGORONGORO CONSERVATION AREAS
After breakfast, depart for half day tour of the crater floor or armed with picnic lunches descend to the floor of the crater for full day game viewing with lunch taken on one of the picnic designated areas. Return to your lodge for Dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge (LDBB)
Day 8 Nairobi
After early breakfast and armed with picnic lunches drive through the Namanga border into Kenya and proceed to Nairobi hotel for your check in. overnight at Hotel Boulevard
Day 9
After breakfast proceed to airport to board flight home.
